Makita AN611 Nailers

 

 

The light weight Makita AN611 Nail Gun weighing about five pounds has a magnesium enclosure, plastic coil housing, grips made of rubber along with nail feeder and barrel which are made up of steel.

Among several wonderful features of the nailer, one main feature is that a height adjuster is held in the coil housing depending on size of nailer which has the capacity to shoot 1 1/4" to 2 1/2" wire collated coil nails or 1 1/4" to 2" plastic collated coil nails as specified by the manufacturer.

The other features are, an adjustment knob is provided to change the depth of the nail drive easily at short period. A 3-way switch enables locking of the trigger. One nail can be fixed in the desired area by depressing the trigger or nailing can be done continuously by depressing the trigger down.

 

An exhaust cover which has capacity to turn 60 degrees, prevents blowing of compressed air on the face of the worker while working. Thus enables the worker to work continuously for long periods. A non-marrying nose is also provided.

A manual supplied along with the nailer specifies the length of the plastic collated nails and the wire collated coil nails. Only the specified length of the nails should be used to get the best results without any jamming.

When other nail lengths are used, the nailer will not work well and will not meet the requirement. The manual also describes the compressor and hose used in the nailer and make us understand to carefully handle the nailer while usage. So to get the best results read the manual well before working with the nailer and make it a point to use only the specific length of the nails so as to reduce working time and effort.
